It mathematically generates a series of related chords using just a root note and mode, whether major or minor.

You can start with basic chord complexity, which allows you to use common chords like I, IV, V, and their relative minor counterparts (ii, iii, and vi). As you move through the complexity levels, you can add exciting elements like parallel majors and minors, along with sus and dom chords. By level 3, you can begin to explore 6th and 7th chords, followed by 9ths and 11ths chords, as well as other advanced chord variations.

With Progressions, the freedom level lets you control how far you can drift away from tonality, enabling you to craft never-ending soundscapes. This feature is perfect for producers looking to experiment with their music in new ways. You can quickly randomize a toolbox of chords, which can be played in various styles, including block chord mode, arpeggiator integration, or a strumming pattern editor. These options can be synced to your host application, triggered remotely, or layered together to create a cohesive song.

The comprehensive song mode allows you to change play modes on the fly and control many features of the app in real time. You can use open and closed chords with selectable voicings. Progressions utilizes an intelligent chord alignment system that helps balance the top notes of chords, adds additional bass notes, and supports chord padding to ensure even simpler 3-note chords sound fuller. You can also experiment with rootless voicings.

There's a Humanize section that gives you control over chord and note timings. You can set velocity variations to prevent the music from sounding too robotic. This is especially useful for adding a more organic feel to your compositions.
