Hillman Synth is a versatile synthlike instrument that captures the essence of old combo-organs and string machines, ideal for those who appreciate vintage gear. This app allows you to create rich sounds with 4 voices per note. Each voice comes with a selectable waveform, including a transistor oscillator, tube oscillator, sine-wave oscillator, and a special plasma oscillator, giving you a wide range of sound options.

The sound generation in Hillman is based on an analog approach, ensuring that you get deep, rich tones without using samples or sampled wavetables. You can easily control the pitch of each voice with the octave switch control, offering offsets ranging from -1 to +2. Additionally, the level control feature allows you to adjust the volume for each voice, helping you achieve a balanced mix.

Hillman Synth also features ADSR envelope controls, letting you shape your sounds precisely. You can further enhance your music with the classic ensemble chorus, available in 3 different chorus modes, adding depth and texture to your creations. The 4 pole phaser effect can be customized with 2 different phaser modes, each offering different frequency ranges and notch depth settings for unique sound modulation.

Reverb is another key feature of Hillman. Whether you’re looking for a small room reverb or something more expansive like churchlike hall reverb, this app provides lush reverb effects that will elevate your sound. With an overall level control, you can manage the final output volume seamlessly.

This app not only offers vintage synth design but also supports polyphonic sound synthesis, making it a powerful tool for analog music production. Hillman Synth serves as a great music composition tool, perfect for anyone looking to customize synth sounds. Its capabilities for digital audio workstation integration mean you can easily blend it with other music tools.

With various sound modulation techniques and unique sound textures, Hillman is an excellent choice for anyone interested in musical experimentation. You can explore voice layering features to create complex sounds or engage in interactive music creation to craft your perfect piece. The customizable effects settings allow for creative sound design, making Hillman a delightful addition to your music-making toolkit.
