Elastic Melody is a user-friendly iOS application designed for creating music. It also works as an AUv3 plugin, making it easy to use within your favorite music software. This app features 3 channels of synthetic sounds. Each channel offers an analog style step sequencer that lets you create melodies in a fun and intuitive way.

With Elastic Melody, you can automate nearly all parameters, allowing for flexible and creative music-making. This parameter automation gives you the freedom to change sounds dynamically, giving your music an "elastic" feel. The app is particularly focused on intuitive melody creation, so you can get started quickly without needing extensive musical background.

Elastic Melody also comes loaded with presets from notable sound designers in the iOS scene. You’ll find sounds like "Sound of Izrael," "Red Sky Lullaby," "Nu-Trix," "JaKob Haq," and "Another Machines," among many others. These sound designers' presets help you start crafting your unique tunes without starting from scratch.

The synthesizer and sequencer aspects of Elastic Melody are designed to be simple yet powerful. Each of the 3 channels has its own analog synthesizer connected to a sequencer. You can easily customize the start and end points for notes and set various timing parameters. With 14 parameters available per synth engine, such as waveform, lowpass, and highpass, you have a vast range of options. Plus, changes in parameter values can be drawn in an automation window, making sound manipulation techniques straightforward.

As you create longer pieces of music, Elastic Melody includes a song mode functionality. This allows you to arrange several patterns into a longer sequence, transforming your ideas into full songs. You can utilize pattern repeat features, making it easy to duplicate, rename, or delete patterns and song elements as needed.

In addition to its creative tools, Elastic Melody offers a selection of master effects that include EQ effects, chorus effects, delay effects, and reverb effects. Each of these effects can also be automated, so you can adjust parameters over time. Most of these features have their own timing parameters for automation, giving you even more control.

The app makes it easy to refine your work with essential features like undo and redo functions. You can also explore various randomization features to inspire new ideas and creativity. Elastic Melody supports preset sharing, allowing you to import and export your sounds effortlessly.

Furthermore, with Ableton Link integration, you can sync your music with other devices effortlessly, enhancing your workflow. Whether you’re looking to experiment with melody sequencing tools or dive deep into sound creation, Elastic Melody provides the resources you need to make amazing music.
