DM1 has five key sections to enhance your music production experience. The step sequencer allows you to unleash your imagination with a multi-touch screen. You can easily turn steps in your sequence on and off with your fingers, helping you create cool beats and unexpected rhythms.

The drum pads give you the chance to play and record beats. You do not need to be a great drummer; the automatic quantize feature takes care of timing for you. The mixer enables quick sound mixing of your drum kits, with options for adjusting volume, pitch, and sample lengths. Each channel can have custom drum kit elements, and you can mute or solo tracks effortlessly.

The FX trackpad is a unique feature that lets you distort, modulate, and transform your beats with various real-time effects. Effects include overdrive, delay, reverb, and more, allowing for sonic destruction to elevate your sound. The song composer helps you put everything together, letting you drag and drop your beat patterns onto a timeline for fast and easy song creation.
