Trudograd is a standalone story expansion for ATOM RPG, a turn-based roleplaying game set in a post-apocalyptic Soviet Union. This game draws inspiration from classic cRPG titles like early Fallout, Wasteland, and the Baldur’s Gate series.

The story begins with a nuclear inferno backstory. Twenty-two years ago, the USSR and the Western Bloc destroyed each other, leading to the deaths of millions and the collapse of society. Technology was pushed back to a medieval level. You play as a member of ATOM, an organization dedicated to protecting the remnants of humanity.

Two years ago, you, a rookie agent of ATOM, embarked on a dangerous mission into the Soviet Wastes. During this mission, you uncovered information about a new threat that could destroy what is left of human civilization. In ATOM RPG: Trudograd, your goal is to travel to a giant post-apocalyptic metropolis that survived nuclear destruction and societal collapse. There, you must find what might be humanity’s last hope in fending off a menace from outer space.

Trudograd offers many exciting features. You can start a new game with a fresh character or continue playing with your ATOM RPG character. To do this, you need to make a save file after defeating ATOM RPG’s last boss and then upload it into Trudograd through a simple menu. This save file integration allows for ATOM RPG character continuity, letting you carry your progress into this new adventure.

The game provides a vast open world that includes over 40 hours of gameplay and more than 45 populated locations to explore. You can traverse a snowy post-apocalyptic metropolis, its outskirts, secret Soviet military bunkers, and even a massive pirate tanker in the frozen sea, as well as a mysterious island.

In Trudograd, you will encounter over 300 unique characters, each featuring a unique portrait and branching dialogue interactions. The game has more than 200 quests, most of which have multiple outcomes and solutions, allowing for a player-driven narrative path. You can also try fully voiced visual text quests that feature branching plots and handmade artwork.

For combat, there are over 30 combat-only locations where you can face various foes, including mercenaries and merciless mutants. To equip yourself, you can choose from over 100 distinct weaponry models and utilize 75 weapon customization options. Additionally, you can protect yourself with any of the three unique powered Soviet-style exoskeleton armor suits. Each armor suit can be customized and modified in over 20 ways to suit your playstyle.

The fun doesn’t stop there! ATOM RPG: Trudograd combines exploration and combat balance, providing an immersive gameplay experience that deepens the game's detailed environmental storytelling. With innovative RPG systems, players are encouraged to discover dynamic threats as they navigate through this rich, post-apocalyptic setting.
