O₂ Buddy is a simple app that helps you see, understand, and track your blood oxygen readings easily. You can use it on your iPhone, your Home Screen, or your Apple Watch. If you wear an Apple Watch, it already measures your blood oxygen levels throughout the day and night. O₂ Buddy takes those readings and makes them more meaningful for you.

With O₂ Buddy, you can quickly see your latest blood oxygen reading, a summary of last night, and today’s average and low readings all on one screen. Every reading is grouped into categories like Typical, Lower, or Low. This way, you can instantly know where your levels stand.

Tracking your trends is straightforward. You can switch between 24-hour trends, 7-day trends, 30-day data, and even a 90-day data export with just a tap. Each day shows its complete range alongside its daily average, giving you a clear picture rather than just the last number. You can easily watch how your average shifts over time.

O₂ Buddy lets you compare your daytime readings with your overnight levels side by side. If you track your sleep in Apple Health, the app counts "night" as the time when you are asleep. This lets you easily see your oxygen saturation levels overnight compared to the day.

Insights help you understand your levels better. You can see how much of your time falls within the Typical, Lower, or Low range. The app also shows your pattern by hour during the day, plus your lowest readings. You can tap on any reading to see its context for that day, including your heart rate from the five minutes before and after the reading and your breathing rate. This allows for health statistics comparison and provides fuller context around your readings.

Sharing your health information with doctors is simple. O₂ Buddy allows you to export a clean PDF report or a spreadsheet with up to 90 days of readings. These reports are created on your iPhone and only leave your device if you choose to share them.

On your wrist, the O₂ Buddy Apple Watch app provides a fast, glanceable summary. It shows your latest reading and a 7-day trend with daily ranges. You can check your last 100 readings right on your wrist. The app also has complications available in various styles, including color-coded gauge rings and trend sparklines.

For quick access on your iPhone, O₂ Buddy offers widgets. You can have a widget displaying your latest reading or one showing your 7-day trend.

If you are concerned about low readings, you can set up low reading notifications. You can customize the threshold for alerts. When multiple readings come in after you unlock your phone, they are summarized together with the time each was taken.

Data privacy is a priority with O₂ Buddy. It offers read-only access to Apple Health, ensuring that your information stays on your devices. Your data is never uploaded, shared, or sold.

O₂ Buddy Pro features are available through a one-time purchase. The free version allows you access to readings and today’s overview, while Pro unlocks trends, night versus day comparisons, low reading notifications, the full Apple Watch app, health insights, and the capability to export your data. If you had O₂ Buddy before version 2.0, you keep what you already had at no cost. The new features come at a reduced founder price. An optional tip jar is also provided, but this is just a way to show appreciation; tips do not unlock any new features.

The app also offers light, dark, and automatic modes, as well as a 12-hour or 24-hour time format. Built-in FAQs and support are available to help you get started.

Remember, O₂ Buddy is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose or treat any condition. Blood oxygen levels are recorded by your Apple Watch and stored in Apple Health for your reference. With O₂ Buddy, you take charge of your health tracking effortlessly.
