Alternatively, it can sprinkle air on your lines, turning them into ethereal sound lines. By simply loading Magma onto your track, you can give your sounds an entirely new identity.

Magma has its own character, especially when paired with acoustic sound integration. It can transform many types of audio sources in surprising ways. Depending on the input you provide, it can either magnify sounds or break them down. So, how does Magma work? It continuously records incoming signals in a short buffer. Then, it plays back these sounds by blending various moments in time, creating a rich texture. You can adjust the density settings and the persistence of texture to achieve results similar to a reverb, an infinite sustain, or even a spectral shadow.

Magma includes various tools for sound sculpting. There is an EQ section to help you fine-tune the high and low frequencies. The temperature knob introduces a specific kind of distortion, adding noise-based amplitude modulation at higher values. Additionally, it features mid/side processing to manage weight and air control in your sounds.

You can decide whether to go raw or keep it smooth. The RAW switch turns off the default envelope follower applied to the input. Setting it to "ON" gives you a sharper sound, while "OFF" offers a smoother texture. You also have the option to blend memories from the past as you choose how persistent they should be. The freeze toggle enables a fascinating frozen time effect, allowing for organic infinite sustain.

Furthermore, you can set the playback speed of memories. This lets you harmonize intervals, whether they are perfect or odd, to fit your creative needs. With the intuitive interface, you can easily customize timbre, adjusting how your texture sounds.
