Kebarp is an intuitive MIDI arpeggiator designed for simple and quick pattern creation. With its customizable grid, you can easily craft unique arpeggio patterns. To get started, just connect a MIDI keyboard or sequencer to Kebarp, then route its MIDI output to an audio app. It will arpeggiate the notes you play based on the patterns you create on the grid.

You have the flexibility to fine-tune settings, including the minimum and maximum octave reach, step count, gate, velocity, and swing control. These adjustments can be made directly from the control grid. When you want to create arpeggio patterns, simply select a scale from the control strip and start dragging on the grid. If you’d like to remove a note, just tap on it.

All notes are locked within the selected scale, making it easy to stay in tune. The grid numbers help by representing notes relative to the root note. For example, 1 is the original note, +2 is the next note, and -2 is the one before.

Kebarp also features a retrigger option that resets the sequencer each time you play a new note. This can be particularly useful for maintaining rhythm. If you activate pattern chaining, Kebarp will automatically advance to the next pattern once the current one finishes playing.

The app includes both Kebarp and Keboard AUv3 plugins, giving you flexibility in how you use them. The standalone version of Kebarp even supports Ableton Link, allowing for smooth synchronization with other music apps.

Keep in mind that Kebarp is a MIDI app. The standalone version has an internal synth option that you can enable or disable in the settings menu. If you are using the AUv3 plugin, it requires an audio app for output. For seamless AUv3 functionality, Kebarp needs to be hosted within a compatible app like AUM, Loopy Pro, Cubasis, Logic Pro, Nanostudio, Drambo, or apeMatrix.
