Harpie is a special harp tuner designed specifically for harpists. Unlike regular tuners that just have a harp mode added on, Harpie focuses on the unique needs of harp players. Every feature, from the lever harp options to the pedal harp string list, has been carefully created to match how harpists actually tune their instruments.

When you use Harpie, you can get ready by tuning up before a rehearsal or make sure your instrument is perfectly set before a performance. With Harpie, you receive clean feedback that is easy to understand. The app uses an arc gauge tuning system to show you exactly how sharp or flat each string is. This means you can quickly tell whether to tighten or loosen a string at a glance.

Harpie's reference mode allows you to tap any string from the list and listen to a pure harp reference tone. You can choose to tune by ear or let the gauge guide your tuning process, depending on what you prefer.

For pedal harp players, Harpie features a full 47-string layout, starting with all pedals set to flat. If you play a lever harp, you can enjoy a customizable string layout, adjusting from 19 to 40 strings to fit your specific instrument. This flexibility helps you find the perfect setup for your tuning needs.

In addition to these features, Harpie provides A4 calibration, where you can set the pitch anywhere from 430 Hz to 450 Hz in 1 Hz steps. You can also choose whether you want flats or sharps to be displayed, and you can turn the octave display on or off for added convenience.

Harpie supports a full dark theme, which makes it easy on the eyes, especially in low-light rehearsal spaces or during pit orchestras. This dark mode benefits users by reducing strain and providing a comfortable viewing experience.

A unique feature of Harpie is its tuning reminder. Before each session, it reminds pedal harp players to set all pedals to flat and lever harp players to disengage all levers. This way, you always start from a consistent setup, which is vital for accurate tuning.

Harpie also backs up its impressive capabilities with multilingual support. Whether you speak English, German, French, Italian, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese, you can easily navigate the app.

Overall, Harpie is designed with harpist tuning features that accommodate both pedal and lever harps. It ensures that you achieve tuning accuracy every time. With responsive feedback, clear sharp flat indicators, and options for pitch calibration, you can maintain your instrument with confidence. Use Harpie for effortless session preparation and enjoy a smoother, more enjoyable tuning experience.
