This version of Discord includes three different algorithms: Vintage, Clean, and Experimental Granular Mode. The Vintage Mode is based on the original Discord algorithms, like the H910 and H949, providing a classic sound. The Clean mode offers modern pitch shifting, while the Granular mode allows for more experimental effects. Depending on your audio, each mode has unique strengths, giving Discord4 a broad palette of capabilities.

With Discord4, you have full control over buffer size. The P1 (Vintage) and P2 (Clean) algorithms let you adjust the buffer from 32 to 2048 samples. This feature allows for fine-tuning the pitch shifting effect or creating strange sound effects at the extremes of the six-octave pitch-shifting range.

This version retains the duo of Tempo-Synced Delays and bandpass filter features from earlier versions. Additionally, a reverb in the feedback loop creates delightful shimmer reverb effects. We've also introduced the all-new Flexible Low-Frequency Oscillator for modulation, which offers nearly limitless shapes with just three controls.

Discord4 features a true stereo signal path, allowing for independent control over each side. You can use independent panorama controls to adjust the stereo width of the wet signal. This gives you a more personalized sound.

MIDI Note Input Control is included for pitch shifting across six octaves. This feature lets you make precise adjustments using MIDI notes. The app also boasts a resized vector-based GUI, designed to enhance your user experience.

The new version improves upon soft saturation and limiting along the signal path. This enhancement adds vintage-style warmth and allows for extreme feedback experiments without the risk of overloading your digital audio workstation.
