About the App
In 911 Operator, you step into the shoes of an emergency dispatcher. Your main job is to quickly handle incoming reports and respond to various emergencies. Sometimes, all that’s needed is to provide first aid instructions over the phone. Other times, you may need to call in the police department, fire department, or paramedic units to intervene. On the other end of the line, you might be speaking with a worried father, an unpredictable terrorist, or even a prankster. The challenge is to manage these situations effectively.
You can play this game set in any city in the world. In the Free Play mode, you can choose any urban area and download its real street maps, complete with addresses and emergency infrastructure. If you prefer a more structured game, the Career mode includes six cities, each with unique events and challenges. For example, you might need to ensure earthquake survival in San Francisco or respond to bomb attacks in Washington, D.C.
As an emergency dispatcher, you’ll manage various teams. You have access to multiple police, fire department, and paramedic units. These teams come with different vehicles, such as ambulances, police cars, and even police helicopters. They are equipped with essential technical tools like first aid kits and bulletproof vests. Each team member has diverse abilities that help you in different emergency scenarios.
The game features over 50 recorded dialogues based on real-life calls. These can range from serious and dramatic exchanges to more light-hearted or annoying ones. You can also expect to encounter more than 140 types of reports to manage during your play.
