MolliLooper is a powerful tool that works as a realtime stereo effect for looping and filtering. It is designed mainly as a live performance tool, making it easy for musicians to use. One of its key features is the ability to trigger loop recording without any preparation. The app constantly records input in the background, so you can start looping whenever you need.

With MolliLooper, loop timing is synced to the host clock. This means you can adjust your loops from multi-bar loops all the way down to quick 16th note drills. Once you have your audio, it goes through a lowpass resonant filter, a neutral resonant filter, and a highpass resonant filter. This process is based on a 4 pole ladder design, which gives you that lush analogue style sound that many musicians love.

You can use MolliLooper as an iOS standalone app or as an AUv3 plugin, giving you options depending on your setup. This flexibility makes it suitable for different kinds of live audio manipulation.

The app combines features of a looper and stutter. With continuous recording, it allows for instant recording and looping, so you can keep your creativity flowing. You can also jump to meaningful places in your recording using the “snap to grid” feature, which helps keep your loops tight and accurate. The app supports various grid time signatures, so whether you need 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, or other beats, MolliLooper has you covered.

Another great function is the ability to scroll through your recording easily. This way, you can quickly access different parts of your audio. The filters allow for effective audio filtering as you play. With the long tap XY feature, you can maintain filter position control while shaping your sound.

MolliLooper also includes a limiter booster effect, enhancing your audio output without unwanted distortion. The momentary mode offers users a way to interact dynamically with their performance, allowing for spontaneous creativity.

In summary, MolliLooper is a versatile app packed with features aimed at enhancing your live performances. It provides essential tools for audio effects customization and dynamic audio mixing. Whether you are a seasoned musician or just starting, MolliLooper offers you the necessary tools for rich musical expression and creative audio performance.
