The story begins 22 years ago when the USSR and the Western Bloc were destroyed in a nuclear inferno. Millions lost their lives, society crumbled, and technology regressed to a much simpler state, resembling the Middle Ages. You take on the role of a member of the ATOM organization. This group works to protect the remaining survivors in this harsh world.

Two years back, as a rookie agent of ATOM, you were sent on a daring mission into the Soviet Wastes. During this mission, you discovered a new threat that could wipe out what is left of humanity. In ATOM RPG: Trudograd, your adventure continues as you travel to a massive post-apocalyptic metropolis. This city has survived the nuclear obliteration and social collapse, and it holds what many believe to be humanity’s last hope against a danger from outer space.

Trudograd offers players the chance to either start fresh with a new character or continue your ATOM RPG character. If you want to continue, make sure to save your game after defeating the last boss in ATOM RPG and upload that save file into Trudograd using a helpful menu.

In this game, you can engage in open world exploration, where you enjoy over 40 hours of gameplay across 45 populated locations. You can wander through a snowy megapolis, explore its outskirts, and visit hidden Soviet military bunkers. You might even find a large pirate tanker lost in the frozen sea or stumble upon a mysterious island.

Trudograd also features more than 30 combat-only locations where you can confront various enemies, from mercenaries to merciless mutants. As you play, you'll meet over 300 unique characters, each with their own portraits and branching dialogue options. You can choose how to interact with them and experience the consequences of your choices through over 200 quests available, most with multiple quest outcomes.

One of the exciting aspects of Trudograd is the fully voiced text quests that present unique branching plots, complete with handmade artwork. You can arm yourself with over 100 models of distinct weaponry and enhance your arsenal with more than 75 weapon modifications. This allows you to customize your gear to fit your gameplay style.

You can also protect yourself with any of the three unique powered Soviet-style exoskeletons. These armor suits come with over 20 different possibilities for customization and modification, giving you plenty of options to enhance your character.
