You can also import additional MIDI clips easily. Just drag and drop your ZIP collections into your PC or MAC web browser, and Helium automatically unpacks them into your clips library folder. The integration with the Files app also allows you to drag and drop files between the Media Bay and your files.

The app supports a feature called remote looping sync mode. This helps break down your song's timeline into sections. You can create up to 12 loops to define key parts of your song, like the intro, verse, chorus, and outro. These loops can be triggered seamlessly in sync with the host tempo. Once set up, incoming MIDI notes can trigger these loops, making your workflow even smoother.

Another recent addition to Helium is the ability to piece together loops into complete songs. You can focus on creating a single verse, chorus, or bridge and then combine everything without the hassle of rearranging your entire timeline.

The built-in mixer lets you adjust relative track levels, using mute and solo options to control the sound more precisely. Additionally, you can sync your work to the host tempo, ensuring everything stays in time.
